DESCRIPTION

The SUP Rack is wider, which allows you to transport: 1 SUP / 2 adult boards or 3 kids boards. Our SUP bar sets are larger versions of our bike and motorcycle racks. The interior width of the rack increases from 9.65 cm to 15.24 cm to accommodate two lighter boards or other thicker objects.

THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE RACK. This is simply a larger set of lower cradles that can be added to any of our complete rack sets as an upgrade.

FEATURES

Our longboard racks are well suited for use with SUPs with the following limitations:

We recommend the racks for boards up to approximately 25 pounds.
Heavier boards are difficult to ride on the side of the bike and will exceed the load capacity of the bars.
SUPs are wide and you will need space under your handlebars. For the most part, this means you can only carry a SUP with a Beach Cruiser with a set of cruise bars.
Standard racks have just under 4 inches of space for your board.
Many SUPs are 4 inches to 5 inches wide.
The good news is that it's relatively easy to bend the lower U-shaped portion of the bars to fit wider SUPs. If you have an inflatable board, it's probably thicker than 6 inches.
